Courtney
⭐️ Award-winning groomer
Courtney owns and operates Happy Paws Pet Grooming Services Which she founded in spring 2020.
Her love of animals began at a very young age. While growing up, you could normally find her hanging around the farm playing with the cows and horses, or looking for baby kittens with the dogs trailing behind her.
Courtney was an active member of a local 4-H beef club for 10 years where her love for grooming animals began.
She worked many years on a purebred beef farm where they would travel around Ontario and across Canada showing and grooming cattle at some of the most elite shows.
In 2015, she had the opportunity to represent 4-H Canada and The National Junior Beef Heifer Show as a member of Team Canada. She travelled overseas to show and groom cattle in competition in the UK (the team placed 2nd overall!)
Fast forward to 2018, Courtney started her journey in the pet grooming world. Grooming household pets came naturally to her. In the spring of 2020, she decided to follow her dreams and opened Happy Paws Pet Grooming Services.
Courtney gets to do what she loves everyday and helps pets look and feel their best, one fur baby at a time.
Devon
To say dogs have always been a major part of Devons life would be an understatement.
Devon grew up in the show ring with her family's kennel showing Terriers both in the breed ring and at earth dog trials.
It was with the purchase of Devons first Australian Shepherd where she branched off into performance sports and training, becoming a certified trick dog instructor and gradually focusing on working with reactive and aggressive dogs.
Between showing and performing with her dogs at events, grooming dogs has always been a big part of her life. Continuing education is very important to Devon from both a grooming and behavioural standpoint and she will continue to further her education to guarantee that all dogs get the best care possible.
Faith
Faith has worked alongside Courtney for many years from show and sale cattle, to now pet grooming.
She works full-time on a purebred beef farm where she spends most of her days grooming and training show cattle to exhibit across Canada.
Faith has always had a soft spot for dogs and took a liking to pet grooming while helping Courtney out on nights and weekends, eventually agreeing to start accepting clients at Happy Paws.
Faith enjoys working on medium and large breed dogs!
Jenn
Jenn’s passion for all types of animals was evident from an early age. Pet grooming seemed to be a natural fit. Jenn has enjoyed many pets from hamsters, lizards, and cats, to her three Australian Shepard’s, as well as her horse.
When she isn’t out riding her horse, or hanging out with one of her pups Jenn enjoys camping, hiking, going to the beach, and embarking on new adventures.
